As part of the minimum OS version update app release happening early 2023, we have put together some steps to ensure that your OS is updated to the supported versions.
Our supported OS versions are:
iOS:
- iOS 12 and above
ANDROID:
- Android 9 and above
How to check which version of OS you are currently on:
iOS:
1. Go to 'Settings'
2. Click on 'General'
3. Click on 'About'
4. Next to 'Software Version' it will show your iOS software version.
ANDROID: (the images provided show a Samsung device, but the device information for Android can generally be found from the device's 'Settings' or 'Systems' screen.)
1. Go to 'Settings'
2. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, and click on 'About phone'
3. Click on 'Software Information'
4. Under 'Android version' you will be able to see your software version.
Where to check if your device can be upgraded to our minimum requirements:
iOS:
1. Go to 'Settings'
2. Click on 'General'
3. Click on 'Software Update'
4. On this page, you will be able to see if you can update your iOS software, and if so, to which version.
ANDROID: (the images provided show a Samsung device, but the device information for Android can generally be found from the device's 'Settings' or 'Systems' screen.)
1. Go to 'Settings'
2. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, and click on 'Software update'
3. On this page, you will be able to see whether or not your phone can be updated (the image below shows that there are no further available updates for this phone).
If your device's software cannot be upgraded to the minimum version, then you may need to upgrade to a newer version of that mobile phone which has the capacity to run the required software.
